Hi,

I've just received my Peluso CEK12 cap that I bought at Front End Audio.  Looks odd... somehow it seems like on both sides of the membranes there is a dried up liquid.  Any comments?

Bought it new.  It was well packaged and well sealed.  Anyway, I got in contact with Peluso.  They will replace it.
 
Certainly looks strange to me.  Shouldn't a ck12 inspired capsule look like this?

Are you kidding Ben?
Everybody knows that CK12 is the only chinese K67 with the edge termination - even these from 50's were made that way!
Difference is that original design had Chinese mylar and peluso saved the world using German mylar!
:D  ;D  :p

Btw. you could make nice yellow braid!
If you will use german mylar you could call it Rapunzel CK12!
