Hi There!

I finally finished my LA2A PCB and made some units with it, and it works good. I post here to see if there is any interest in a first run of PCB. Price is 50$USD + shipping. This is NOT a kit, only a feeler for the PCB itself, unpopulated. Some hints:

The psu integrate the option to use a Toroidal or EI power transformer,
The use of DC for V1 heaters
The integration of a bleeder resistor
Plenty of filtering on the PSU, for better ripples rejection
Audio transformers are mounted outboard
Tested with Cinemag transformers.
Complete build manual
A link for a mouser and Digikey card
Exel sheet BOM
My eternal gratitude :p

Blue PCBs!

What was your total cost for building on of these? Can you make the compression link switchable?

Thanks!

Paul

One vote for blue! :) toral cost turn around 900 to 1100$CAD. Must be a bit less in USD haha. By compression link switchable, you mean compression on/off ?

Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to pass this time. I have too many projects to finish, which is compounded by the fact that I am traveling frequently right now. I'll have to check back later this year and see if they are still available. It seems to be a quick and easy way to get build and LA2A.

Thanks!

Paul

Hi

The D-LA2A is a dual version on one board, mine is a mono board. Other than that, I think the main difference is in the psu. But that's about it.
