Should all electros in the GSSL comp be low impedence. I have so general 22uf caps that I was wonderig if I could use. I know that the 100uf electros are in the signal path and should be high grade, but I don't see any 22uf's in the audio signal.

The input caps are 22uF and the coupling cap in front of the channel VCA is 22uF, too. Decide it by yourself if you need high quality caps. For my Gssl I bought the cheapest parts available and it still sounds better than most of my other gear. Or do you think every manufacturer uses Panasonic FCs? No way. Cheapo rules for (most of) them. But it´s ímportant to use tantalums for time constants at the releasecontrol for low leakage reason.

One thing you can do is to built one channel with FCs and one with cheap ´lytics, then listen and let us know
cheers
Jens
