G1176 / MC76 - How much did it cost you guys?

Hi, I'm a complete newbie to the DIY scene but I took an electronics class in high-school and am now in an "Audio Systems Maintenance" class in college.

I'm just about to order the MC76 kit from Purple Audio to use for my final project (and for my home studio :grin: ). But I was curious as to how much these 1176 DIY projects have cost people to build after all is said and done. I am going for the MC76 kit because I want the easiest time of it because of my newbieness...
