bd517-518 hfe

Hello, i have some 517 and 518s.
517s measure hfe from 200-250.
518s are goldplated but measure hfe from 30-75!!

Any idea, comment? I need them for push-pull out of 1176 project.

Should work, but how??? :grin:

I think that push-pull designs need matched transistors. It doesn't need it because i can't or no matter at all?

?

They don't, I think. The output stage will work fine with the ones you have.

I don't know Ic. I measure it with a Metex M-4650 multimeter ( good quality).
I just need these trs for 1176's output push-pull amplifier.
