Bass DI zod / Reddi ?

Toroidal pwr XFMR is the way to go for this box,

yep the mumetal i think has done a little but still not enough for my ears, toroidal is defo the way to go yeah CJ.
i was going to try and put a 3-5mm steel plate in there and see if that helped as for the LA2A it did wonders but both of them had toroidals so probably no worth it.
need to find a stash of 170v and 6.3v toroidals!!!!

the input jacks, when i plug in both input and other jack for thru it halves the signal? and loses bottom end?
is there a fix for this? i think i need another txf as this is hi-z and im going in the line in.

yes, its a impedance issue, when using the DI box the signal is fine into line input obviously, so i'll probably just put another txf on the THRU output so i don't need to wire in another DI box.

Just replaced the mains txf for a toroidal and wow!!! no hum, clean as a whistle, sounds incredible with both guitar and bass, now to finish off the Noble tube preamp!!!
