Hello, everyone,
Wanted to share a old build that I revived after using it for parts. It's an old Forsell optical compressor where I added tape machine style effects at the input, which are selectable between 15IPS reel to reel or cassette. I changed out the PSU with a pair of SMPSs to make it bipolar and added capacitance multipliers which really makes this unit incredibly quiet. It had been collecting dust for a while so I thought it was time to get it working again and put it back to use. The wiring is very messy as I just wanted to get it functioning and not rewire the whole thing and the knobs I used were ones I had left over. Maybe at some point I'll be bothered enough to get a matching set of knobs.
