Hi,
I'm new on this forum, and quite new in electronics so forgive if I say or ask something stupid.
I just bought a Fostex MN-50 mixer in a thrift shop, with the intention of using it for my noisebox with contact mics.
Offcourse when I got home I saw that there are 4 tape channels and only one mic/line channel.
Could I do an easy modification to change the tape inputs to sensitive mic inputs, f.i. by changing the value of resistors R25-R28?
Other suggestions?
Schematics is stolen from another post here, so don't mind the pink markings.

Erik, it's not a schematic for the mixer...

It's your Google bill.

Since it contains personal info, I'll inform a mod to delete it.

You would also need to increase the gain of U1 by changing the ratio of R30/R29, but anyway it would end up in very poor noise performance.
I think you should get a few mic preamp kits tpo connect to the tape inputs.
