Hi All,

I'm in a pinch here. We have a band loaded in and ready to start tracking when suddenly the +15V rail in our Neotek Series III goes dead. This happened previously as a result of a short in the meterbridge.

The best temporary solution seems to be to lift the supply rails to the meters. I can't think of any reason that this would not be safe, but I don't know this console at all. Is it safe to cut power to the meters?

Thanks!

Brian

Hi,

I have the series one, not sure if its similar or this is helpful,

but I had the same happen recently, its fine to unhook the ribbon cable to meter board. I think there is a cap called the green dragon?? that is very prone to dying and taking the rail fuse out, If it is indeed this then just change the CAP and the fuse and you should be good to go, it should be easy to spot if it is the CAP that's gone because they explode in spectacular fashion!!

good luck

Pete
