I record to Alesis HD24xl and mix on a Studer 269. The Studer has 16 channels and I often use channels 17-24 to mix to 2 track. For playback I have to go in the back and reroute the 2 tk mix to the Studer. I would like a dedicated 8 channel line mixer to accommodate this setup.
I would love another Studer 169 but they don't come up that often and are pricey...
I was thinking of AML 1073's line only in a 500 series.
Any suggestions?
