@sagebaggott. Thank you for the measurement of the 200B channel
600 channel is 483mm long and 31mm wide
200B seems to be shorter (18 inch = 45,72mm) but same wide
Are you sure it's exactly 18inch long ?

About total price for a channel it should be around 350€ each.
Kit will be around 250€ included PCBs, faceplate, potentiometers, pots and switches caps maybe the fader too
All others parts are very common: Capacitor, resistors, slide switch (ALPS SPU1900 are used), ICs, relay, connectors and could be buy on Mouser or Digikey (I will provide a Mouser BOM) and should cost between 50 to 100€ depending conponents quality you choose (audio grade capacitors for example)

As 6000, 200B and 600 does not count same busses i will update the routing board to match each console.
Any 6000 owner can provide faceplate size ?

I'm away from my Soundcraft 6000 at the moment. Give me a few days and I will measure.

This is amazing. I'm definitely up for some if you make them for the 8000.
As 8000 channel is far bigger than 600/200B or 6000 i don't think we will make the custom channel fit for the 8000, sorry

I would like to ask forum member that is interested in Custom channel that own a 200B or a 6000 if you have spare channel that you can ship to me that i can work on compatibility between 600, 200B and 6000.
Please PM if you got one

+ 1 (..2,3,4,5,6,7....) here..
..as post ago..
this channel strip is like a muscle car with nos
very superior to almost all of the commercial mixers that have been around for the last 25 years,
in the 0-10-15000 bucks price range , and even beyond ...

a master strip of the same level , also ready for mod (like api "a.c.a." , etc..)
would be the "cherry on the cake" !!!

any chance about ?

cheers .

@xarolium

Hello,

I have seen your post and the module you created.
It is wonderful.

I recently missed out on a 200B, so I thought I would copy your post and make my own. However, I couldn't find any pictures of the soundcraft 600 series Master PCB or AUX Master. (I found the schematic in the user manual).

The schematic you have created is very easy to read.
If you have information on Master and AUX, I think I could build my own. Do you have any pictures of the module, including the inner workings?

cheers,

Wow. This project is pretty amazing. You could almost build an entire console with these. You just need to add a center section, maybe some FX return modules, and a master fader module.
I thought the same as you.
But first I will try to create a simple one with no extra features such as EQ.
My skills are lacking and it is taking me a while to figure out the old schematics. It is hard to understand parts of it. For this reason I am looking for pictures of the actual product.

I was just reading this thread and I have recently purchased a soundcraft 600. If these work like you say it’s quite amazing. I was just thinking how it’s be nice if someone could do this with the Delta dlx as I have one also and I’d like to integrate the some different delta modules into it to get more groups/options, and then I saw yours. I was just wondering if it was still a go if you reach the 50 modules needed for production? I’d have more questions but wanted to check first. Thanks

I am interested in these for an 8000 console! I read that there is fitment issues. I could send a channel from my 8000, Im sure a lot of us 8000 owners would love this and buy a lot..
