i got those from professor Aaron Lanterman and it did work when i tried them.

No. The first two in bold did not work since they are incorrect.
Start with P=IV. That is correct. Then work out the others with pen and paper by simple substitution.

Either Pr A Lanterman is a loony or (more likely) you have transcripted them wrong.
It's amazing how you keep wasting our time by not doing your homework.

i got Ohm's law aswel power covered, but not the others or when to apply them.

P = I² / R or P = R² / i or P = V · I.

calculating a frequency

1/(2 x PI · C · R) also works.

maybe they should open a threat with the Math formulas + drawings and when to use them and make it sticky.

than some circuit are tricky, like the Urei 1176 with parallel capacitors, transistors on different levels.

well, i might have switch the operators.
But it turned out the same result if as using the classic formula i learned at school
P = V x I, without knowing the voltage (witch in that example case i did and could check it) and only using the resistor and current value.

i do have a A4 sized note block around where i write findings, but ...

Its only possible that you got the correct result using the formulas you posted if voltage, current and resistance are all equal to one, otherwise, sorry, but no, its not possible.

Do you ever admit mistakes? Seems like you just change the subject every time someone is confused by what the heckin heck you are trying to say. Plenty of us are willing to help you...but please dont make it harder than it needs to be.

Well you have implied that he is an idiot.
You have mis-stated the most basic of equations. It's very disrespectful to all to not do the most basic research or checks.
You have been offered advice from very skilled and experienced engineers yet persist in making diversions and excuses.

i can't find the messages anymore.

Like i said, i might have switched the operators and should have taken written notes at the time.
stop being extreme!

i do make notes in the Schematics, PCB files stored on my hard drive.
But routing is very very long tedious job,i can't work on them all da time and proceed another schematic, till i come back .. so it can take a very long time, till a PCB is finished, 6 months, 12 months or more.

I think there is something definitely odd, his entire story, the way he answers with unsolicited out of topic comments, etc... But perhaps we are being a bit harsh, he is not hurting anyone and he is not rude, yes, he really doesn't know the most basic stuff, he always has excuses and doesn't seem to follow advice, but he is only posting his stuff. Now that we are aware of this, perhaps we could just accept it and offer him advice, if he desires to take it, fine, if not, someone else might read it and get something out of it.
I really don't have a problem with him, I wish he would listen rather than just counter with some random stuff, but everyone here is a bit crazy.

TBH, there is far worse stuff in the Brewery

Ya, a 4 channel MDO scope with spectrum analyzer would help a lot, but given that cost more than 10.000€, i probably never get one.
more or lesss had to eat less to get a tektronix 2212 used and i was happy to see the invisible.

It is fascinating that you even know about 4 channel MDO oscilloscopes without knowing Ohm's law.

But such is life. I learned Maxwell's equations long before I was able to buy my first analog oscilloscope.

My opinion is that what the participants here are actually asking of you is that you don’t ask questions whose answers you don’t really even want to hear, let alone think about or adopt. In this way, you belittle them and waste their time. There may be other members who will not receive help because of this, which they would appreciate. You should think about it.

i certainly do know Ohm's law and a bit more.
i already said that.

Volt is defined as U here, the same as in Germany.
It's just you don't think about things like ESR of a capacitors and some other stuff and i have to translate it for myself as well.
99% of the circuits i see are pretty much the same, i mean the components used albeit they do something different in the end.

i used the calculator pretty much everyday, but to place traces exact on pcb.
having a circuit with 40 or so parts and 250 air wires is very boring, i just switch between them till they get finished someday.

i also said in the current age, it's very difficult to have a single job, today you build the national optic fiber network of the country, the next day you work on cars, there after you repair electrical problems in rental houses, Than you build or rebuild the production line of 2 Ford manufacturing plants for a new model, etc, etc. no matter how much effort you put in to it.
some things just get lost over time.

You accredited statements to him that are simply incorrect. So - in a spirit of constructive engagement - I suggest that you go back and edit your post to be correct. It's easy enough and would put things right on that front.

Hardly extreme. Switching operators completely invalidates the equation. If you have P=IV and Ohm's Law then it's trivial to get the other equations correct.
