Title: Testing tubes for noise

Hello,
What is the best way to test tubes for noise besides putting them in the circuit where they belong.
Is there a test equipment ? or a DIY circuit that would facilitate measurement

Yes, this is an important topic and comes up regularly. Note that my lst posts on this topic erroneously mentioned Vgk when I meant Vak.
