Title: Testing tubes and transformers under real condition of mic amp
Post by: Dobrilo on June 13, 2013, 10:01:29 AM
Hi. I would like to make sim proto board for testing tubes and transformers under real condition of mic amp (U47) but I have no idea how to simulate input without capsule. I wanted to test for F.response, noise, etc, but I ned to establish input for low impedance source. Any ideas?

Use a capacitor of the came capacitance as the capsule you want to simulate (iirc 72pF for KK47, 85pF for CK12), and inject signal through this...

Thanks Gyraf. So no need to add some resistor in series with signal generator?
