at first i was thinking, what is he gonna do to these poor knobs..

but wow, not bad  :o

It always looks so easy on youtube! ;)

I like his result, the knob looks very good. This tube tester is really beautiful, a mixture of art déco and steampunk style. This would be a perfect decoration for my home. I bet this piece of gear was pretty expensive.  8)

Now that's impressive. I really can't tell which is which. I've done this with measuring a knob, putting it up in Openscad and 3d-printing, with only fair-to-good results. I printed a larger one with 100 percent fill, but it's still not as heavy as the original with apparently has metal inserts for added weight.

I've been collecting various Raytheon knobs at hamfests. I really I like the way they look and feel.
