ssm2166 compressor in a chip design

How would I implement this for microphone use? Balanced....

I think about it a time ago. finally I reject the idea.

first than all this chip work with 5v so the headroom is poor .
second the compressor don´t have a tresshold control .
in any case. you could put a ina103, ina217 , ssm2017, ssm2019 in the input and a drv134 for the output.
I even began the design of the pcb

the ssm2166 is designed more for comunications , no hi end audio.
probably work well on guitar pedals.
