GQP-1A Twins!
« on: October 11, 2005, 10:51:17 PM »
Finally got around to posting these pics.

Thanks to Jakob for sharing the plans, Frank for the frontpanel and Gustav for the PCB's !

The units sound Great! I wish I had a real EQP-1A to compare.

frequencies are not exact (gyraf layout/pultec front panel), but what the hell it sounds good. ;)

Very nice work!  Classic inspired fronts.  Choice!  Is that a Radio Shack heatsink in there?  Love those things. :green:

Big round Dakaware knobs were from C&H in Pasadena ,CA  thanks to a tip from NACHO.

flat pointer knobs were ordered from COSMO Corp. P/N 38-7626-010-00-3-10 "military style selector knobs" with white paint fill., but you have to let them know you are a buisiness and ordering a minimum of $50.00 or so as samples. John Parker helped me he was very nice. 440-498-7500

Yep, proud to admit that is the only part in there from the rat shack.

FPD. files from Frank were sent to front panel express. Without "White" Fill , but it looks like it is colored white even though I did not select it. $50.00 to get engraved.

Errrrr.....cool!

What is the deal on the Toko?
Was that from the inductor shootout and whats the name of that thread?
I need  an inductoir change.
If I can't fix it, I can fix it so nobody else can!

I think Some of the TOKO inductors have been discontinued by mouser etc. , but some mentioned "FASTRON" as the same inductor but possibly rebranded?

I am pretty sure that WILCO inductors won the shootout. I cannot find that page.
