I'm currently trying to source parts for the 1081 project.
On the B308 board, there are two 10pF polystyrene capacitors listed (C2 and C3). I haven't been able to find any 10pF poly*s. I found some 33pF poly*s, and 10pF ceramics. I want the 1081s to sound as authentic as possible. What would some of you more experienced builders use? I tried looking at some pictures of authentic units to see what are on real ones, but the resolution of the images aren't good enough.
Also, how do the various daughter cards connect to the motherboard? Some sort of headers, I would imagine. Anybody have any pictures?
Power transformer. Since the power supply I am using accepts 24VAC input, I imagine that the proper power transformer would be the same as the one for the G1176, only at 1A instead of .6A. Correct?
Does anybody know of a good source for TO-92 and TO-39 style sockets/spacers?
