My bass and high freq sections are working just fine but I can't get the mid to work. I bought the cinemag inductor, didn't work, then I DIYed the inductor, didn't work, and then I bought the mouser inductors and still doesn't work. I have traced audio through the whole network, pulling out components and hacking up the traces. I get clean audio at every point I would expect it. But the mid freq has no effect on the signal.

What have I done wrong?

Tools I am using:

old heathkit scope
fluke true RMS meter
protools used as a tone generator.

I pulled the 1 meg resistor, and ran signal through. I traced the signal all the way through the mid section.

I had to cut some traces when I tried the Cinemag inductor because it has a tap for every freq. But then I soldered the the traces back together, so to speak, using some clipped leads when I tried the other inductors.

Anyway, that was my experience,
