Hard to find components!

Don't know if this should be here or Blackmarket - but is there a list of suppliers for hard to come by components for the various GroupDIY projects?
I was about to order 4M7 pots for 1176 and then - - SMOKED!
I'm tierd and my eyes are just about bleeding trying to find a UK supplier
Any pointers?

Anybody have an up to date supplier for 5 meg or 4m7 pots in the Uk? Electrovalue.co.uk has vanished by the look of it. :sad:

I can't make head nor tail of el-supply.dk coz it's in Danish...

I bought a couple about 7 or 8 months ago from Banzai (I think) but they don't list them anymore :sad:

Bit loathe to pay what it would cost for a pair from digikey :?

Is it possible to use a 3M or 2M2 with additional resistance to reduce the longest release time to useable effect?

Colin, they're single & the BOM for the G1176 calls for either log or lin - let me know a price

In Omeg P20 pots you could have either;

4M7 Linear or 2M2 Log

It isn't possible to print a 4M7 Log pot track in these type of pots. They would be;

1+ GBP 1.45 each
10+ GBP 1.16 each
50+ GBP 0.99 each

Prices exclude freight and VAT [if applicable]

Delivery would be about 4-6 weeks.

I've ended up ordering for musikding, I only needed 2 for release pots for another pair of G1176s that I'm building.

Prices look similar and no doubt the quality of the omeg pots is superior to the alphas. Maybe I'll plan ahead enough next time!
