Hi everybody !!

I'm on the Slow Blow project
and i have two very Big 2200uF 450v capacitors

But on the schematic there's three 1000uF 400v
(HC1, HC2, HC3)

My overall capacitance is 4400uF so it's enough
but how to connect my two 2200uF ??

Which capacitor (HC1, HC2 or HC3) can i "forget"
on the PSU schematic !

thanks :thumb:

I remember he sayd, the thing is overdesigned.
In normal conditions you dont need that much capacitance.
Dont remember schematic, maybe add third capacitor smaller.
btw his last post is from Nov 03.
After somebodi attacked him.

Isn't the "Slow Blow" a Sismofyt design? He was here recently.

Best regards,

Mikkel C. Simonsen

You can put 2200 in case of 1000 but no to forget a capacitor. Use the 2 2200uf for Hc1, HC2 and find a smaller cap for HC3. More critical is capacitor's performance rather than capacitance.
(I am coming, too.....)

The bigger the better
No-one pre sounded bad because it has plenty of cpacitance... Quiet the opposite.

so it's not a good deal to have buy
the two big 2200uF
If you don't i will be happy to buy them for my slowblow

Use them with no fear. HC1=2200, HC2=2200, HC3= find something good quality from 470-2200uf. With the L that i sent you will be a really big psu.

Cheers
