I'm going to build the Jensen version and I'm wondering what type of capaciter to use. The place I was ordering from had three types in this size so I just ordered all three for under a buck. What cap should I use or does it really matter?
They had:

Dipped Tantalum Capacitors (35V) - .1 µF, Dipped Tantalum Capacitor (35V)

Polyester Capacitors - .1 µF, Mylar 100 Volt ±10% Polyester Capacitor

General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors - .1 uF; DIAM: 5 mm; 50 Volt

Also, they did not have a 20K POT so I ordered a 25K POT. This would not be a problem for the impedence POT would it?

Sorry to be ignorent, but I'm pretty new at this stuff and I'm not familiar with the term "film" cap. Can I assume by your post that polyester, polystyrene, mylar and polypropylene are all types of "film" caps? Would you please elaborate on the term? Thanks in advance.

The cap in the Jensen-circuit ? It's the one in series with the 51 Ohms, correct ? So no roll-of or tone-shaping here, it's just there to keep lift GND and keep a HF-path going. So I'd say use a ceramic, it's cheaper and might be better suited than a film at the same time. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bye,

Peter
