Hope this question isn't too dumb.

I'm planning on building a 16 channel passive summing mixer along the lines of NewYorkDave's recent design.

I intend to use this with 8 outputs from a Digi 002R and 8 outputs from an ADA8000. The output impedence of the 002R is 50 0hms, while the ADA8000 is 500 ohms. How do I calculate the value of the shunt resistors when dealing with these two different boxes?

All help greatly appreciated

(I've got this horrible feeling I've missed something really easy..... :? )

I saw your PM... Sorry I didn't reply. I wasn't blowing you off, I'm just forgetful sometimes.

The output impedance of your gear (whether 50 or 500 ohms) is low compared to the mixing resistors; you don't need to make any adjustment to the values on the schematic.

ah, I have the a similar issue! love that search function!

Dunno the exact ouput impedance of the rosetta 800 however.
