Hello! I'm working on a G9 preamp that I've modified the design of and I want to insert a -20 dB pad switch in the input section. Any suggestions for an appropriate value? I was thinking 470 ohms, but I'm not sure how to calculate how many dB that'll give. Thanks!!

Yes, actually, I realized that the line input is padded. With the Gain control attenuating in several positions, I see that it doesn't really need a pad in the input. I was just concerned about mics with high output levels, but the Gain control will take care of that. Thanks!
