The Archives?

I understand that we cannot presently post the archives, but is there a way to distribute them for safekeeping ? did anyone actually ever get the ENTIRE archive ? Can't we make a bittorrent file for rapid dissemination ?

i read an interesting post that said that while each individual entry was the IP of the poster, that chris had a right to the Compilation Copyright..this is an interesting idea, but wouldn't he need the permission of all of the individual writers represented in order to claim domain over the compilation ? if they failed to give him permission, what grounds would he then have if consensus granted the right to someone else to include the groups efforts ?

and who the hell would he sue ? all of us ?
