8 Chnls DIY Tube Mixer question
« Reply #20 on: July 29, 2004, 06:04:04 PM »
sorry for my dumbness, but it´s still not clear for me yet. Let´s say I want a 16channel mixer with 10k inputs...

So, I will use cathode followers on the front line amps to drive the 10k inputs, or any other line amps...

Should I use a panpot 10 times the input impedance and calculate the summing resistors using this value also?

It would be something like a 100k dual pot for pan and 82k or maybe a little more for the mixer resistors. Based on what you did, it looks ok for me, but please, let me know if I´m thinking the wrong way about it.

Thanks a million, Dave!

Does anyone have a copy of these schematics?  It's a real shame all of these NY Dave schematics are gone!
