POT with center point for balance???

I´m searching a pot with a center point for a balance circuit. someone know where can I find one? I search on RS and MOUSER without luck.
or someone know another method to me make a center point?
I need something tactil not visual.

I believe that Omeg still make a centre detent pot, but I think their minimum order is 10 units . . . You could always use a 2-pole multiway switch(?)

You might try a "blend" pot such as are used on J-basses, but wired in reverse -- 1 in / 2 out. StewMac carries them I believe.

OMEG's center doesn't feel stable! feels like it's moving abit, but the turn feeling is nice, like Vishays 248&249 serie.
Look for nearest ALPHA or ALPS distributer and call them!

Alpha just have center detent pots on carbon composition and Alps have only for pcb... :?
I need something more robust.

someone know another method to make a center detent? maybe a special knob or something?

And otherwise, if you're lucky and/or desparate, the balance-pot from some old broken hi-fi amp might come to the rescue...

Take a BB and a spring from a ball point pen and drill a hole in the back of the knob. Then put a dimple on the panel at top-center.

Now push the knob on real fast and tight! lol.
