Trying to figure out which to buy for the BD140/139. Here is the mouser page. There is a large difference in price

http://www.mouser.com/?Ne=500&handler=data.listcategory&Ntt=*bd140*&terms=bd140&crc=true&N=571&Ns=SField

I also can not find anything for TIS98, TIS97 and SKA 4693. This is for the 2520 R1 boards. Do I need to search for these differently?

Thanks for any help.

Sorry but I have one more question. BD135/136

http://www.mouser.com/index.cfm?&handler=data.listcategory&D=*bd135*&terms=bd135&Ntt=*bd135*&Dk=1&Ns=SField&N=0&crc=true

I see some just state BD135 and others have 16STU at the end.

I'm so confused!

I recommend the BD14016S or BD14016STU. Didn't check the difference between these, but likely just packaging.

The 16 at the end means it is the highest hfe class which is a good thing. BTW, that's all in the datasheet, worth a look usually...

The MMBD1401 stuff is not suitable--as you can see, they have not the required TO-126/SOT-32 footprint.

Did you read all info here about this discret opamp? I'm sure that's been answered. These are antique transistors, you'll not find them. I have not studied this project but IIRC they use the BC550C/BC560C.

Thanks. Yes I read the spec sheets, but at this point they do not mean very much to me. The more questions I ask, the more I read the better I will be at answering my own questions. So I appreciate you patients and willingness to help a guy out!
