I have a couple of TRW impedance tarnsformers with shields that I pulled from an old console some time ago.
The shields say 0-17 magnetic shield TRW.
The cans inside say 0-25 and have the possible connections: 600/150/2K/500.In addition :0 MA DC+15DBM 30Hz-20KHz 500V HIPOT.

Are this any good, qualitywise and else?.
Thanks for any info.

Those are UTC "ouncers." They're pretty good. The ones you have (O-25) are input transformers intended for transistor preamps. I have a handful of them, myself, that came from a broadcast mixer. The O-17 shields are cool to have.

Thanks a lot Dave.Mine came from a broadcasting console too.Now to find a a project for them.
You would not know if they would be good for this application would you?(he's using an #0-2).
