Hi I'm new here....

I have an old amplifier,Pionner A333 for about 12 years, until several months it sounded ok,now when I play it at moderate-high levels it sounds a bit distorted, the monitors are B&W 602 tested with another amplifier(Rotel) and they souds ok so it is the amp.
I opened it but don't see any component that could be suspicious the amplifier transistors are A1264n and C3181n, is posible that these need to be replaced? or could be another thing ?

thanks,

i am guessing dried out coupling caps.
change the big suckers that read 10,000 MFD.
either that or the pwr transistors have gone leaky.
as always, check pwr supply first.

the caps are labeled Nichicon 6800 uF 42WV LR(M)

which voltage are ? 42 V ?

I serched on the Nichicon web site but not found any info about the LR(M) series....
