LA-4 meter replacement recommendations ?

... is there a suitable replacement for a dead LA-4 meter ??

you could try ATR services; they have modutec meters pulled from old ampex machines that are nearly identical to the meters in an LA-4. you may be able to find something like that on eBay as well. you could also try contacting hoyt; they probably will sell you a brand new meter that performs better than the original, but it wont be cheap.

if you have to have the urei logo, try calling up JBL pro services and see if they still have any old meters hanging around.
