Someone just gave me an O-scope....

t's a tektronics 100MHz digital storage oscilloscope number 468. It was being binned because the gain on channel 1 is 'down a bit'. Channel 2 is fine, allegedly.

No probes though :sad:

Does anyone have any experience servicing these? I only really need one channel but it would be nice to get it working

These were an industry workhorse and is well worth fixing up unless something is horribly wrong with it. I might have a manual someplace...

I used to use that same scope I believe, I loved that thing.
I like digital scopes..Used digital for 5 yrs and really learned to like 'em.

Someone just gave me an O scope too!!

My dad !

It is a BEL MERIT 25MHZ dual trace scope in good working condition.

Also he gave me a Topward power supply and a BK 10Mhz signal gen
that he was not using for the past 5 years.

Feels like Xmas :grin:

Free test equipment is always good!

Zebra,

Check here for some reasonably priced probes. They are like $20 each and are decent quality.
They also have a 20MHz dual trace for $270. I got one here at work a while back and its not bad at all.
