I am going offline for the summer, and was looking for some good summer reading. This can include theory, abstract, or strictly reference material.

Add a link if you have something that I can easily grab onto my computer such as a one or two-pager or a couple of PDF files. Size shouldn't be too much of a concern, but organization IS.

My personal interests are in mics, preamps, and PSU stuff but add anything you like.

Here's one or two I've got already:

Thanks!

Why?
1) My cable company (Charter Communications) broke their '$40 a month for your entire life!' contract with me, and now the bill is @ $65 a month. To top it off they were asshats when I called them. Time to quit.

2) It's going to be nice outside.

3) I'm getting a motorbike.

4) I have a sand bike, a sailboat, and a fishing pole.

5) I'm gonna get outta Dodge for a while.

6) I'm officially outta money, and I'm going to have to work for a spell.

7) I'm stuck in front of my computer because I'm addicted to this @$#%#$% forum

Hey Good idea!! Sometimes I feel like I want to do the same, but never get quite there. Good to see theres others who have got away from it -- so to speak.

I came across this site earlier tonight:

http://www.nutshellhifi.com/library/index.html

I usually run the other way when I see "audiophiles" coming, but there's actually some very good reading there.

Also, here's a cool little article about audio transformers (from 1937) which I also happened across tonight. I converted the webpage into a PDF for covenience:

Very good so far - - anyone have an 'A to Z' on mixers and/or EQs?

Oh yeah, reason number 8: My summer relaxation hideaway. There's a 40' jump into the basin of these waterfalls. It's an 80 mile drive and a half-hour hike.

This goes on for miles :!:

Ptownkid;
Leave Northside alone.
He has been cooped up north all winter and
has not seen liquid water for months.
Let him get some air and learn.

Northside get out have fun.
If you really want to get away make sure
you download the radiotron 3 book at
pmillett.com also look around for vol 4 read it and memorize it.
If you go away and have laptop. Buy a real solar panel to
charge the car or vehicle battery then you can go
off grid and learn.
Is that Tahquamenon Falls?
