Yes, Klaus Heyne's hangout is indeed a great forum, when it comes to no-bs information about microphones. It's a bit low on hard tech - but that is understandable.
I really like his "ground rules" about posting your real name, and not refer to hearsay in the forum - only first hand info is allowed. This takes the air out of so much marketing BS..
