Hi,

I tried searhing the forum but I probably didn't have the right keywords.

I need to split a guitar/bass signal to two amps, or a similar scenario to a preamp DI input and amp. AFAIK I can't do this perfectly with a passive split because at its simplest it would screw up the impedances and attenuate the split signals.

What's the easy and transparent way to do this, say with a 9v battery?

Cheers,
Michael

Bo Hansen's "Impedance Converter"

sounds cool.

I was actually looking for the simplest solution possible, and some of those transformer isolated circuits look rather overkill for my purposes.

martthie_08, thanks for that. Looks like the ideal solution really.
