Ok, I'm scratching my head in this on. I searched both Mouser and digikey. Neither one has bi-polal lytics at this value. Because space is not an issure I will prolly go ahead and order radials of the same value. My question is what am I missing here? are these no obsolete?

If any one can offer a source I'd be much obliged

There's been a general trend going on to eliminate axial 'lytics for some years now.

One alternative would be a radial where you put an extension on one lead, sleeve it, bend it up and then along the body of the cap, and then sleeve (heat-shrink over perhaps) the whole assembly. I've seen the complementary procedure done turning axials into radials.

If space is not an issue, why not just go with some kind of film cap?

Ooooh, film caps! So yummy and delicious!

Peace,
Al.
