Not exactly the same, but I have built the oakleysound 303 clone:

http://www.oakleysound.co.uk/tb3031.htm

Powered by a midi 2 cv converter which makes it useful for other things than just basslines:

To sequence it I built the P3 sequencer, which is extremely complex (new firmware is released almost every week so the feature list is the biggest you can find):

I have a set of PCB´s left maybe one day I find out that I don´t have the time to build it or that I just do other projects like...

I also did a 3031 clone and I m still doing the 9090 but I think the ML sounds better , closer to the original.

3031 , 9090 can be found here:

I made the ucapps SID module for my son in Austin. I struggled with installing firmware (first time doing anything like that) but finally got it. I shipped it UPS and a power supply wire was broken. My son is now saying he can't solder the wire unless I come out to help. Kids now days!

Cool Jürgi! thumb:

It looks like a symbiosis of my MLs. Maybe my MLs had been pregnant? :green: :green:
(are my fingerprints yet on the display?) green:

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3739915085&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT :

The pcb was done in a pcb programm with the pcb-pool. Thats means you can only make pcbs with ONE pcb manufacturer and exporting is impossible. (so the PCB programm is free) And the pcb is doublesided (bad for DIY) BUT. The TB303 was 1:1 redrawn before making the ML. So a 1:1 single sided PCB Layout exists. (this information was posted in a german forum) Maybe he don't want to publish the layout.

As KEV said... there are MANY DIY Projects which aren't ofiicial yet.

uh.. forgive my ignorance.. what does it do? it looks great though!

damn.. someone please delete my excess posting!!!

:guinness:

i guess my double vision wasn't really from all that beer for breakfast!

One day I also need one.
Good work! :thumb:

man, oribital "diversions" and "peel sessions" have gotta be my all time faves for electornic programming, viscious 808 beats and the ultimate advertisement for a 303. I think plasticman "sheetone" was ONLY an 808 and a 303, that was a fun record back in the day.

303's are fun to "play", but if you can get over the interface on rebirth and deal with turning the knobs with a mouse, it actually sounds REALLY REALLY GOOD. Rebirth into a 1272 sounds every bit as good, imo as a real 303. Its harder to use, but for simpler stuff its very awesome!

dave

ya, I also did some acid work in the past (important records). I sometimes use rebirth but I don´t like to edit it with a mouse. I like hardware pots. and when you program the original you sometimes get funny sequences because of faulty (german "prellen") switches (taster). You want to program e.g. a sequence based on c-g-c , but the 303 recognizes c-c-g-c .... thats real funny. I am an acid freak and I love those machines. And yes I know the microwave steffen prince.

has anyone else here released something with a TB?

what synths do u guys use ?

Jürgen

Right you lot, go here: Acieed

Not sure cloning a 909 would be much fun, some of the sounds are 12-bit digital. An SH-101 clone could be interesting, with more mod options.

Cheers,
Justin
