PCB Mounting Brackets?
« on: July 06, 2006, 03:35:16 PM »
I'm looking for brackets to mount a PCB at right angels to a panel.   I'd like brackets with posts that solder to the PCB and threaded holes for the panel.   This Halfer board has some nice examples:

I've had tech support at Newark, Mouser and Digikey search, but they don't carry them.   Anyone know of a source?

Thanks,
Thomas

Keystone #7779 (no screw) #7690 (with screw)

Digikey has stock with screw Here

Thanks tommytones -- I was looking for something similar.

Your link produces a 'Dataset Expired' error; the Digi-Key part # is 7690K-ND

However, I would strongly dissuade anyone from using these terminals as the sole/main means of support of a PCB which is used in a device which is exposed to any amount of vibration. Solder connections and mechanical stress do not mix.
