Hello all,

I'm looking for info about the 50k trimmers on the GSSL PCB. I'm building a GSSL using original SSL VCA modules (the newer DBX 202s). Do I need the 50k trimmers aside or I need to leave them out? I'm asking because I already soldered them in and I don't wanna damage my precious VCAs. Thanks!

The "new" VCAs I'm talking about are the ones on the right, not the gold cans.

Hi, where did you get those SSL VCA modules ? :)

That 2181LA's require trimmer to adjust distorsion, but
from the photo, I see a green thing just at the top
of 'SOLID' printed text on PCB, is it a trimmer ?

Yes, you need the trimmers... I build my GSSL with 202 with no changes at all. The 202 is called for in the original design.

I used the 2002 cans (silver ones) and used the 50k trimers too (without changes), but I havent a distortion meter to test distortion... but with trimers it runs ok to me. I used little metal tubes weld in board holes, so I can put and clear the 2002 without weld if I need
