I have cal. quotes on my 3 recent Tektronix purchases.
I am able to drive/drop the units off and pick-up. (no $hipping)

The company is Davis Inotek Calibration Lab. (in many US states).

I'm not familiar with this procsess. Are these reasonable deals?

under the impression that it's fairly simple.

Calibrating a scope is absolutely not simple. And you need some specialized test equipment which, in turn, has to be in calibration itself. You see where this is going... This is why people use cal labs.

Out of the three units, the DC power supply is the only one which might be relatively easy to calibrate yourself. The function generator might not even need cal unless it has an internal counter or you otherwise need it to be spot-on frequency-wise.

See I knew i was on the crack. I guess I'm just thinking of the basic calibration using the cal post on the front.

What all needs to be cheacked when doing it properly?

Look in the manual for any older scope (when they still used to include the schematics, parts list and cal instructions). It's quite a process. 100-odd bucks doesn't seem outrageous for what must surely be a couple hours' work.
