Orange Drops or Wima MKS for Pultec ???

used these in some of the parts for a 15w class a for my son, aswell as orange drop, when i rebuild the amp, poor build by me, i wont bother with the orange drops, dont see them listed by many manuf at any level, and the top guys dont worry about costs!!

guraf dont spec them i think.

:? Picking Capacitors :idea: How about reading a good old article about this with the same name? So nobody should ask about ' which type of film cap is best for highs / mids / lows ' again. Brand? A matter of taste not of quality i think. Does everybody like caviar? No, but it's still expensive... :razz:
I spend more time on picking the right 'lytics instead! Probably much more rewarding....

ok, it looks like i like the wima's when i need an accurate value, down in the small ranges, and sprague's are ok above that, when 10 percent accuracy is no biggy.

I used both Orange Drop and Silver Mica but for guitar tube amplifier
