Hi,
the idea is to split the line level signal from the mixing console aux output (1,2,3 and 4) via patchbay into 4 small mixers for cue mixes.
can I do it directly with only the patchbay or I need some elctronics in between ?
                                                      |-------------- aux 1-4 to small mixer
                                                      |
                                                     |--------------aux 1-4 to small mixer
big console ------aux out 1 to 4 ---|
                                                     |--------------aux 1-4 to small mixer
                                                     |
                                                     |--------------aux 1-4 to small mixer

thanks,

I assume you mean this (since what you suggested didn't really make any sense to me):

big console ------aux out 1|-------------- Line input 1 of several small mixers

big console ------aux out 2|--------------Line input 2 of several small mixers

big console ------aux out 3|--------------Line input 3 of several small mixers

big console ------aux out 4|--------------Line input 4 of several small mixers

In which case yes, you can do this with just cables.

one question more,
regarding the gruond, if the line is +4 balanced ,what is better connect on both ends(on big and small mixer) or leave one end disconnected ? and if is better disconnected which one on the big or the small mixer ?

thanks,
