Hey Guys,

I'm reworking my Hot Rodded Neve's which seem to have a low level hum at High Gain, which may be attributed to the PSU, but I just wanted to check the pin outs of the 10468 as well.

I have wired up the modules as per the JLM Hot Rod doc, but the there is not mention of a Pin11 on the originals, at leasts not in that doc.

I have a Pin 11 on my Carhill input and I'm wondering if those should now be attached to the chassis ground point? Currently they are floating....

Any advice or help?

Cheers

Matt

Just leave pin 11!

If you use a LM317T based psu, check that you have atleast 28-29V at the regulator input!

Good luck!

TK!

Thanks for coming to the rescue as always! I will not look at the PSU, where I think the issue lies. I think it has some noise which is being amped at high gains, the pre is workable for most condenser apps, but I know I can lower it or eliminate it all together... the hunt begins.

Cheers

Matt
