If I had any I would gladly share... but they are germanium transistors so says the add. I got some talking to do at AES

I would gues the same places the effects people get them. They are still made I believe.

I was under the impression that they are no longer made :?

Loads of NOS stuff around though (I must go back to the "mom and pop" shop" - where i bought loads of OA10 diodes from
If anybody can give me an indication of the OC number I can see if any are hanging aroudn the back of the shop

OC is not a " type ", but a nomenclature. As BC or AC or AY or BY or BF....
In the same kind of neve module you could find different original substitutes in the same place of the schematic. For example,in my B100 card there´s a mullard oc44 in place of the AC107 and a Texas Instruments TIXa02534 in place of the NKT216. n my 2252 compressor, the B100 has 2 texas i. 2g309b10, and 2 b104´s drive a couple of OC22´s....

Steve at Small Bear has quite a selection. I'm sure if you asked him, he would tell you the actual numbers......

Last I looked a few years ago there were a small number being cranked out somewhere; even some NTE types available.

Can't speak for the Chandler but the EMI TG12151 mic/line amp used:
AC107, GET106 & GET105

Supposedly his are "specially made" so they are much more stable than the old ones..... less susceptible to moisture. But I'd expect they're off the shelf from somewhere...

Those who use the pres seem to love 'em.... from what I've read. Some comments @ gearslutz.

I´m posting a new topic on the Germanium DIY dual preamp eq based on early blackfaced Neves. All interested please refer to this new one
