I'm making an tube guitar amp repair trip down to Burbank/ Bevhills area. Where can a Joe like me find High voltage caps (LCR type and singe stage) and tubes

Thanks Steve I may be calling you. I was able to put my hads on 7 50/50uf lcr's with 98 datecodes. I will see what all amps are dropped in my lap. I bookmarked your site.

Apex is like mecca. The first time I went there I started hyperventilating.
Four hours later, I had finally settled down.
Since then, I've been able to see first timers walking around. They have the same Glassy eyed look I must have had.

I hear that apex JR is also really good.

Yep...

I worked for my father there for 30 years, and in 1992 left to
do my own thing...
At that time my brother was doing his thing in Video and when
I left in 1992 he came back...
My Father passed away in 2002 and now my mother, sister and brother
are there....
It was a cool place to work, but I enjoy what I'm doing now.
