Guitar Line Booster?

No luck searching so here goes:

I have a long non-program audio line going to a tuner that's part of my stage guitar rig. The signal at the tuner is weak. I was wondering if there's a simple compact little circuit with a minimal number of components (preferably < 10) that I could build to use at the front end (opposite the tuner) of the long line. I have a fairly stable +16V available at that end of the line. And I have a typical "grab bag" at my bench, but don't mind going to R-Shack or ordering stuff.
