There are many comercial portable preamps, and preamp/AD combo running DC voltages 6V- 14V.
I have read somewhere that is not a good start point, so I would like to know more about this.
Till I know, can be build a supply for example 12V to +/-15V , but is it a good source or limits the specs of the preamp?
And the option, 12VDC to 220AC pure sine wave inverter, and then the current power supplies? This option would give a quite more heavy setup for mobile recording. What can you tell me about each option?
