Does anyone know if the capsule in the um71 head from gefell is the pvc m7 dual membrame version?

Do you mean UM70 or M71? Anyway, both have the PVC M7 capsule inside.
Do you have one to look at?
If so look for a center screw and wire on the backside. You should be able to see inside.
The UM71 is listed as a cardiod and being a M7 type it does need the back membrane: however as in your question is it gold covered and connected with a wire and PVC? I don't know I have not seen a um71.

Well I want to buy one but i just want to know for sure that it is the pvc version because i want to complete my stereo pair of g7/m7's :grin:
