Heil DIY,

I wired my LL5402 like this and it didn't sound right. It sounds like HP filter :green:

What is wrong?

Do I need to add any extra resistors when wiring the LL5402?

Also how do you wire this tranformer to get -12dB and lower the input a bit.

Do you have the pcb boards .. because on mine you just had to drop em in...

I can take a peak in mine if you need me to tell you what goes where pin to pin

I just found this PDF http://www.lundahl.se/pdfs/datash/5402.pdf and noticed
I miss understood which pin is which on my wiring :? :green:

Will try new wiring and report back.

No. I am after the custom Neve/Pultec combination EQ

Hmm, Ok maybe I am deaf but I really tried to hear the difference between one channel with LL5402
and one without and really couldn't. I struggled and sometimes I had a feeling ch. with 5402
sounds a bit more open then again nothing. I also noticed that ch. with 5402 is -2.5dB compared
to the one without. So I am asking you pro guys what is the actual benefit of using 5402 on the input?

My pultecs have a natural boost around 26Hz when I did a spectrum test on them. Certainly not a high pass filter.
