Help identifying old school socket terminals for 2520
« on: October 20, 2018, 03:49:51 PM »
This isn't the modern Mill-Max sockets I need help with...

I'm attempting to clone a solid state Pultec EQP-1A3. As you know, these used the 2520 DOA. As seen on the rear of the unit:

I can round up some phenolic for the board, no problem. But I need help identifying these old style terminals:

Surely someone on groupdiy can help?

Cheers,
Chris

I don't understand. Why would you NOT want to use modern Mill-Max sockets?

Are you making a clone or a replica?

They are the metal-bits out of tube-sockets.

Measure your pins and see if they are 1.02mm.

Then talk to anybody who runs lots of mini tubes. Poor socket contact is in the Top Three aggravations.
